Regional Academy has now opened registration for its Term 3 2019 mid-term programs.

After review of the previous structure, Regional Academy has moved to 3 tiers of programs offered to ensure parents register their children in the correct program.

The first; ‘Introductory Programs‘ is for those with zero to very little experience in basketball.

It consists of Mini Hoops, a program for 3-5 year old mid mornings and Aussie Hoops, a program running weekday afternoons and weekends.

Both programs offer a fun learning environment, where basic motor skills, social interaction and spacial awareness are a key focus.

The second; ‘Development Programs‘ is for those looking to develop exisiting skills.

It consists of Domestic Academy, a program for lower level domestic players looking to progress up into a higher grade, and Rep Prep, a program for higher level domestic players looking to progress into representative basketball.

The third; ‘Advanced Programs‘ is for those all ready playing representative basketball.

It consists of Individual and Small Group Sessions, a high intensity program to polish skills.

Programs Coordinator, Jarryd Moss “Clarity around the target age group and skill level from the outset is extremely important in making sure our members know exactly which program will best suit their child”.

“We cater for all ages and abilities but if a child is enrolled in an a program that is too advanced for them then they’re likely to get disengaged and not enjoy it”.

“We want our programs to be challenging in different ways but for our kids to always be walking away feeling like they learned something a got better”.
