Regional Academy are proud to announce the opening of registration for April 2019 Grassroots and Domestic School Holiday Programs.

Returning again the Slam Dunk Holiday Camp will run for 6 days and is a great way to get out of the house and stay active.

Aussie Hoops Holiday Camps will make its arrival for the first time following Regional Academy and Basketball Australia’s new partnership earlier this year.

Frankston Basketball Programs Coordinator Jarryd Moss was please to open registation.

“We are again offering an early bird special to all those that register before the 25th March 2019”

“These two programs are great for those new to basketball or those already playing domestic at Frankston Basketball or neighbouring associations”

“Anyone that comes is sure to have fun!”

Regional Academy will soon also be opening registration for some Elite & High Performance Holiday Camps in the near future.

Regional Academy’s 5 to 10 year old holiday program, known as Aussie Hoops Holiday Camps (formerly known as Intro to Basketball Camps) are run during every school holidays at the Frankston Basketball Stadium.

Aussie Hoops is a national program which provides an environment where children of all abilities can achieve on the court and reap the rewards of skill development, enhanced self-esteem, social co-operation and grassroots sports participation. Aussie Hoops is all about participation and fun!



Frankston Basketball Regional Academy holiday programs, known as Slam Dunk Holiday Camps are run during every school holidays at the Frankston Basketball Stadium.

Slam Dunk Holiday Camps are tailored specifically for domestic players in the U8, U10, U12 and U14 age groups.

The program uses high level coaching to help players further develop the fundamental skills of basketball.

The program is great preparation for kids looking to get out of the house and stay active.
