THURSDAY EVENING GRAND FINAL WRAP-UP (WINTER 2018)

Winter 2018 Senior Domestic Grand Final action came to a close last night with the top teams battling it our for top honours in the 7 Thursday Men’s competitions.

In the A grade competition Heat ran out 7 point victors in a tight game against Mad Dogs. Leon Davidson (20 points) had a huge game and was important late with the game on the line. Dion Jackson (14 points) provided solid support while James Brown (14 points) was the best for Mad Dogs.

The Warriors recorded a 2 point win over Juiced Up in a classic in C1. The lead never got to more than 4 points in the closest game of the night. Luke and Tyler Molloy were both important for The Warriors with 10 points each, while Nick Stetter (9 points) was gallant in defeat for Juiced Up.

Mini Me Giants took out the 12 team D2 competition with a 10 points win over O’Brien Real Estate. Erol and Aydin Enez combined for a 9 point run late in the first half to establish a match winning lead.

Bryce Harris and Branden Terry posted 20 points each in a dominant performances for bG (B2) and 5 Guys Burgers and Fries (D1). Both players received the MVP award for their respective teams.
